MLCC Solutions

KYOCERA AVX is an international manufacturer and supplier of a vast portfolio of advanced passive components. Ceramic capacitors exhibit low parasitics and excellent EMI filtering capabilities. In a multilayer configuration, they display high capacitance values and various voltage ratings over a wide temperature range. Standard Commercial-Grade MLCCs

KYOCERA AVX Standard Commercial-Grade MLCCs are offered in a variety of dielectric series. The X5R capacitors offer high capacitance values up to 100µF and are well suited for decoupling and filtering applications. Y5V capacitors are formulated for general-purpose use in a limited temperature range. C0G(NPO) capacitors offer one of the most stable capacitor dielectrics available. The U series RF/Microwave C0G(NPO) capacitors are designed for ultra-low ESR for applications in the communications market. KYOCERA AVX X7R capacitors are called temperature-stable ceramics and fall into EIA Class II materials. 

0603 High Capacitance High Voltage MLCCs

KYOCERA AVX 0603 High Capacitance High Voltage MLCCs offer a high capacitance, high voltage MLCC product line in 0603 case size. Additional sizes are also available: 0201, 0306, 0402, and 0508. KYOCERA AVX offers a variety of dielectric series for the standard commercial-grade MLCCs: X5R, Y5V, C0G(NPO), X7R, and U series. The X5R capacitors offer high capacitance values up to 100µF and are well suited for decoupling and filtering applications. The Y5V capacitors are formulated for general-purpose use in a limited temperature range. The C0G(NPO) series offers one of the most stable capacitor dielectrics available. Capacitor Solutions

Y5V Multilayer Ceramic Capacitors

KYOCERA AVX Y5V Surface-Mount Multilayer Ceramic Capacitors feature formulations designed for general-purpose use in a limited temperature range. These MLCCs have a wide temperature characteristic of +22% –82% capacitance change over the operating temperature range of -30°C to +85°C. These characteristics make KYOCERA AVX Y5V series ideal for decoupling applications within a limited temperature range.

High CV SMD Capacitor Solutions

KYOCERA AVX High Capacitance / Voltage (CV) SMD Capacitors are designed to enable optimum performance across all power applications. This ceramic capacitor solution for SMD applications includes extremely high CV (X5R) MLCCs with low ESR for general-purpose decoupling and filtering and high CV (X7R, X7S, and X8R) MLCCs with FlexiTerm for industrial, automotive (AEC-Q200), and commercial applications. KYOCERA AVX Electrolytic Capacitor solutions include small case size tantalum chip, conductive polymer, and fail-safe niobium oxide (Oxicap™) that overlap with commercial, industrial, and AEC-Q200 ceramic ratings, in many cases providing interchangeable solutions. In contrast, the larger case sizes provide even higher CV options.
