TE Connectivity's / Entrelec Plastic Cable Glands and Accessories provide excellent strain relief for cables and high ingress protection for electrical enclosures. The IP68 and IP66 ratings offer protection against dirt, dust, sand, water, projections and other liquids. These cable glands are available in multiple mounting options with three types of thread specifications, including metric, PG and NPT. Locknuts are included with the majority of standard glands. The cable glands feature EMC and railway metal variants that are fitted with contact springs. These contact springs enlarge contact with the cable shield, ensuring long-lasting contact quality and vibration-proof connection. Typical applications include electrical cabinets, machine tools, elevators, motors, manufacturing, biotechnology and chemical industries.
