Amphenol Advanced Sensors IP67 Coolant Temperature Sensor (CTS)

Amphenol Advanced Sensors IP67 Coolant Temperature Sensors (CTS) monitors the temperature of the coolant that is being pumped around a battery to cool the battery module of EV/PHEVs. The sensor offers a BMS system if the battery module starts to overheat. The CTS system relays an over-temperature battery temperature to the BMS system. This enables the vehicle to be stopped and the charging switched off before the heat causes any permanent damage to the battery.
