ams OSRAM AS5311 Adapter Board is a simple circuit designed to test and evaluate the AS5311 linear encoder quickly without having to build a test fixture or PCB. This small factor board includes a position sensor with the necessary external components. The AS5311 adapter can be used as a standalone unit or attached to a microcontroller. Standalone operation requires a 5V or 3.3V power supply. The AS5311 position sensor mounted on the adaptor board reads the relative linear position of a nearby magnet and outputs this information using either a PWM encoded output or via the incremental AB index outputs.
