Analog Devices Inc. AD7616 ADCs
Analog Devices Inc. AD7616 ADCs are 16-bit Data Acquisition Systems (DASs) that supports dual simultaneous sampling of 16 channels. These ADCs feature a 16-bit charge redistribution SAR ADC, flexible digital filter, 2.5V reference and reference buffer, serial and parallel interfaces, and analog input clamp protection. The input clamp protection circuitry can withstand voltages of up to 21V. The AD7616 ADCs can accommodate ±10V, ±15V, and ±2.5V true bipolar input signals while sampling at throughput rates of up to 1MSP per channel pair. These ADCs achieve higher SNR performance of up to 90.5dB using the on-chip oversampling mode. The 5V single-supply operation, on-chip filtering, and high input impedance eliminate the need for driver op-amps and external bipolar supplies. Typical applications include power line monitoring, protective relays, multi-phase motor control, DASs, instrumentation, and control systems.Features
