Analog Devices Inc. ADG794 Mux Analog HDTV Audio/Video Switches
Analog Devices ADG794 Mux Analog Switches include monolithic CMOS devices comprised of four 2:1 multiplexers/demultiplexers with high-impedance outputs. The devices are based on a CMOS process that provides low-power dissipation while giving high-switching speed and low on-resistance. The on-resistance variation is less than 1.2 Ω over the input signal range. The wide bandwidth of the ADG794 (300 MHz typical), coupled with a typical low distortion of 0.18%, makes Analog Devices ADG794 suitable for switching analog audio/video signals.Operating from a single 3.3V/5V supply, the ADG794 Mux Analog Switches conduct equally well in both directions when in the on condition. The ADG794 switches exhibit break-before-make switching action, and a typical crosstalk of -70dB and -65dB off isolation at 10MHz.
