Bourns CB Miniature Resettable Thermal Cutoff Devices

Bourns CB Miniature Resettable Thermal Cutoff (TCO) Devices are axial-leaded miniature resettable thermal cutoff devices. The small and compact Bourns components are 26.5% smaller than the NR series and 64.8% smaller than the HC series, but the compact size does not compromise the current-carrying capability. The series has resistance levels as low as 2.2mΩ.

The devices have current capabilities from 6A to 11A at +60°C and are available in four trip temperature options of +72°C, +77°C, +82°C, and 85°C with a ±5°C tolerance. The low-profile height of 0.8mm and body width of 2.5mm makes this series ideal for smaller batteries in smartphones and portable electronics. The high current-carrying capability means these miniature devices will be suitable for notebook PC and tablet battery cells.
