Microchip Technology EQCO5X31 USB Type-C™ Evaluation Boards

Microchip Technology EQCO5X31 USB Type-C™ Evaluation Boards are a solution for extending USB3 Type-C cable length. Microchip Technology EQCO5X31 boards use an EV40G35A Type-C Extender designed for the Host and Device side. The boards also use an EV23B43A Type-C Repeater facilitating the coupling and extension of two cables. These boards redefine the possibilities of USB connectivity.

The EV40G35A USB 3.2 Gen 1 Cable Extender is a card that incorporates the EQCO5X31 IC onto a small USB dongle that can be plugged into the host and device ends. The EV40G35A Extender card can support up to 8m to 10m of passive USB 3.2 Type-C cable. 

The EV23B43A USB 3.2 Gen 1 Cable Repeater is a card that incorporates the EQCO5X31 IC onto a small USB dongle that can be used to connect and repeat two cable segments. The EV23B43A card can connect and repeat two 6m to 8m passive USB 3.2 Type-C cable segments. Multiple repeaters can be used to extend to even longer lengths.
