I supervisori di tensione di precisione TPS3890/TPS3890-Q1 di Texas Instruments sono dotati di una corrente a bassa quiescenza che controlla tensioni di sistema fino a 1,15 V. Il dispositivo asserisce un segnale di RESET open-drain quando la tensione SENSE scende sotto a una soglia predefinita o quando il pin di ripristino manuale (MR) raggiunge un valore logico basso. L'uscita RESET rimane bassa per il tempo di ritardo regolabile dall'utente, dopo che la tensione SENSE e il ripristino manuale (MR) tornano a superare i rispettivi valori soglia. La famiglia TPS3890/TPS3890-Q1 usa un riferimento di precisione per raggiungere un'accuratezza di soglia dell'1%. Il tempo di ritardo del ripristino può essere regolato dall'utente tra 40 µs e 30 s connettendo il pin CT a un condensatore esterno. Il TPS3890/TPS3890-Q1 ha una corrente a quiescenza molto bassa di 2,1 µA ed è disponibile in un formato piccolo, da 1,5 × 1,5 mm, che rende il dispositivo perfetto per le applicazioni a batteria e con vincoli di spazio. Il dispositivo è specificato nella gamma di temperature compresa tra -40 °C e +125 °C (TJ). I dispositivi TPS3890-Q1 sono qualificati AEC-Q100 per applicazioni nel settore automobilistico.
